![]() $ socat -d -d -d -v -x tcp-listen:14583,fork /dev/ttyACM0,raw,echo=0,b250000ĥ 22:14:07 socat I socat by Gerhard Rieger - see 5 22:14:07 socat I This product includes software developed by the OpenSSL Project for use in the OpenSSL Toolkit. Setting everything to 250k baud now does not seem to work, either, socat does not seem to support 250k baud (unknown option "b250000", maybe the general Linux issue with that port speed). The UM works fine when connected to my friends MacBook Pro. Anybody got this working right now? Is there another good option for tunneling the USB connection? I've tried different socat parameters to no avail. The data I seem to be receiving looks to be binary? I've attached the full socat detail logging at the bottom. The socat detail logging seems to say that the M105 (get temperature) command is sent repeatedly without getting a reply. ![]() Its error log says:Ĭhanging monitoring state from 'Offline' to 'Opening serial port'Ĭonnected to: Serial(port='/home/moritz/dev/vtty', baudrate=115200, bytesize=8, parity='N', stopbits=1, timeout=2, xonxoff=False, rtscts=False, dsrdtr=False), starting monitorĬhanging monitoring state from 'Opening serial port' to 'Connecting' Socat -d PTY,link=/home/moritz/dev/vtty,raw,echo=1,wait-slave tcp: 192.168.0.13:14583Ĭura is set to access that device (/home/moritz/dev/vtty) by manually editing the preference file at 115200 baud. When I try to print, Cura says Connecting, I can hear the UM briefly "twitch" in the other room, and then it says Machine state: Closed. I tried following the instructions at but I can't get it to work. ![]() It's attached to a dinky netbook which isn't really suitable for running Cura itself. I've been trying to access our Ultimaker via network. ![]()
